September 25, 2019

Olympus is all set to announce its new Micro Four Thirds mirrorless camera, E-M5 mark iii this October. It is speculated that Olympus might announce this camera on the 17th of October with the “same” sensor which is borrowed from its predecessor the Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II.

E-M5 mark iii - the new camera will feature the same 20MP 121 cross-type phase-detection sensor as the E-M1 II. It will also have a new processing engine that will boost its AI and making it faster than its previous versions. This camera is said to be lighter, plastickier but still weather sealed body. It is also said to have same BLS-50 battery of the PEN and E-M10 camera series.

Overall the camera is just an upgrade of its predecessor and nothing exciting as such.

Stay tuned as we will be sharing reviews by experts once this camera is out for sale.
